Art & the Practical Arts

Middle school students explore a rich range of artistic disciplines that cultivate creativity, fine motor skills, focus, and personal expression:

  • Watercolor painting, charcoal drawing, and form drawing

  • Woodworking and sculpture

  • Handwork including sewing, felting, and embroidery

  • Class plays and public speaking

These experiences are not electives. They are woven into daily learning and support the development of emotional intelligence, aesthetic awareness, and resilience.

Music, Movement & Ensemble

Rhythm, Coordination, and Connection

Middle school students continue to grow through music and movement:

  • Choral Singing: Building vocal confidence through harmony and collaboration

  • Eurythmy and Movement: Expressive movement, rhythm, and artistic form
